Pat Jarrett was absolutely amazing as our wedding photographer, and I can’t even begin to list all the wonderful qualities he brought to our special day.

We had a destination wedding, where it often was confusing as to what was going on and where we needed to be. Pat took it all in stride. In fact, his quiet diligence in preserving all the special moments of that weekend was so remarkable, we often forgot he was even there.

Pat has an unobtrusive, journalistic style, where he captures moments as they happen. His physicality was unparalleled, as he would climb up objects or drop to the ground in order to get the perfect shot.

His service was so satisfying, I often tell my friends that he was the only vendor I hired who actually delivered without any problems. Considering that every other aspect of our wedding seemed to be in crisis at any particular moment, I was so thankful that Pat was a consummate professional, who required no additional guidance from us.

I feel very fortunate to have hired Pat Jarrett to photograph my daughter’s wedding. I used to have a mug that said “My tastes are simple . . . I like the best!” and that is definitely what we got with Pat. His photojournalist approach is extremely creative and places his work far above the cookie cutter samples we saw while looking for a wedding photographer. Pat has a real eye for finding and utilizing the unique architectural and design details of the venue. His approach is modern and artistic, but he was also able to capture traditional poses of the wedding party that were exquisite, looking as though they could appear as advertisements in a bride’s magazine. Pat is also very comfortable to work with. He is friendly and enthusiastic, yet during the ceremony and reception he was extremely unobtrusive. You are unaware that he’s bopping around getting all of these great shots.
